LoreEditNo one knows how or where the Ranger class began. We can only guess at our roots using documents found in various ruins and relics. The Ancient Treasure Hounds Guild Guide is known to be the most reliable story of our history.
"Before the Second Genesis War, Faya, the mischievous elf of wind, found a bow-hunter in the Ulu Plains. Whenever the hunter drew his bow, Faye would cast a strong wind, throwing his arrows off course. But the hunter was persistant and kept with his training in spite of Faye's little pranks.
When Hagios, the God of Air, discovered that Faye had been disturbing the humans he was furious and warned her never to return to the Ulu Plains again. Hurt by his scorn, Faye abandoned Hagios. Not long after Rahkdan of his last remains. Worried that the power of air would die with her, Faye visited the hunter and imparted part of her spirit into his bow. The hunter was now strong and so were the tips of his arrows. He became known as the first Ranger..."

Hunters move quickly and instinctively, and then can swiftly dispatch any enemy they set their eagle eyes upon. Hunters move like the wind, which enables them to develop unique skill branches. One branch of hunters are the rangers, who use ranged weapons such as bows and guns to snipe targets from long distances. They can shoot multiple arrows at once with deadly accuracy, or shoot arrows consecutively with amazing speed. It is said that top Rangers can imbue a projectile with magic to tear through armor or obstacles.
Rangers are specialized in ranged attacks. They have an excellent range and can kill pretty much everything with this range. They also have excellent survival skills if it comes to close combat. They are wonderful solo in PvE, and it is said they can even solo Hell Bosses.
Rangers carry a dagger or blade in their right hand, in their left a bow.
