Warden

Warden in Forgotten Coast

No one knows how or where the Warden class began. We can only guess at our roots using documents found in various ruins and relics. The Ancient Treasure Hounds Guild Guide is known to be the most reliable story of our history.

"Before the Genesis War, Manoa was an earthly paradise. The gods and their worshippers built a huge temple and they all lived in harmony. The Genesis War changed all that. Akene fell into a deep sleep and the gods who followed her were either extinct or disappeared. The magic left behind by the gods drew in the people and they began to develop their powers from it. The Dabel Priests called them witches and, not long after, began to hunt them down. Those who escaped the Dabel Priests gathered in Manoa, and soon the Witchblades were a force to be reckoned with.

Some of them used their magic to harness the power of water. Their ability to control water in desert was spurned by the Dabel Priests. They called the witches evil and blasphemous and tried to suppress them. But even some of the Dabel Priests' followers were in awe of Witchblades who controlled the water. They earned the moniker Wardens..."

- Treasure Hound Guild Guide, Class Change, Chapter 20 Warden -

Though considered gentle because they use the power of water, Wardens use their power with tremendous force. Once ostracized and attacked because of their abilities, they turned to nature and became one with the raw savagery of the ocean. They eventually used this power to turn on those who resisted their will and called upon the spirits to destroy their enemies from within. They are adept melee warriors, but they become superior ranged fighters once they learn to harness the power of water.

Class DescriptionEdit

Wardens specialize in freezing attacks using ice magic. They can summon creatures to help them fight (Skulljape, Cylius), or make them tank enemies so they themselves can strike from afar. They have a wide area magic with lots of AoEs, which make them perfect farmers. Wardens are best at PvE, but every now and then you'll see one that excells in PvP.

They use Arc Dagger and Arc Blade.
